In this article about next-generation BI, a Forrester analyst cites a few of SAS' strengths and mentions SAS Enterprise Guide specifically:

If SAS needs to work on anything, he continues, it's in reducing its dependence on the SAS programming language, which is a requirement to use some advanced features. "With every new release, more and more features are becoming available in the SAS point-and-click GUI, such as its very popular Enterprise Guide product," he points out.

I think of myself as a proponent for all of SAS' offerings, but since my sphere of influence is mainly in the SAS Enterprise Guide area, this recognition makes me especially proud.
