Scott Wise is a Technical Specialist for JMP, a division of SAS that produces data analysis and visualization software for statistical discovery. In this role he provides applied technical and product management support for the JMP Worldwide Technical Enablement Team. Scott has been a member of the JMP/SAS team since 2008. Before joining JMP, Scott worked for eleven years for computer hardware and services leader Dell, Inc., where he held a variety positions in management, engineering, services, marketing, global training and consulting. While at Dell, he received the company’s first-ever Black Belt and Master Black Belt certifications. Earlier in his career, Scott worked in quality management in the apparel/textile and industrial belting industries. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in quality assurance from the Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA. In addition to his Dell certifications, he is certified by ASQ as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Engineer, Quality Manager and Quality Auditor. Additional certifications also include PMI Project Management Professional.
